On-Location Unemployment Assistance Available in London June 10–12 for Those Affected by the Tornado

For people whose employment has been disrupted by the recent tornado in London, Kentucky, the Cumberlands Workforce Development Board, in partnership with Governor Andy Beshear’s office, is offering assistance.

NOTE: Location change

A fully-staffed Unemployment Insurance RV will be set up at the Laurel County Public Library, 120 College Park Drive, London, KY.

The RV is available Tuesday, June 10th through Thursday, June 12th, from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM. In addition to unemployment help, representatives from other government agencies will be present to offer disaster-related assistance. We will also have Kentucky Career Center staff on site to provide a full spectrum of employment and career assistance.

This initiative is part of the Office of the Governor and the Kentucky Career Center (with support from the LCADD and CVADD) efforts to provide support to job seekers and those in need of unemployment assistance or other related services.
