The Cumberlands Workforce Development Board’s Post-secondary Employment Division has a dedicated staff ready and equipped with resources to assist current college students, soon-to-be college graduates and alumni enter the workforce in our region. We understand commitments to school, friends, family, jobs or a lack of work experience often hinder the job search process when attempting to find gainful employment. Our team has developed a comprehensive program, which utilizes one-on-one assessment measures, to understand our customers’ needs and help remove barriers that can interfere with successful integration into the workforce.

Matt Bacon, a workforce education and development professional, has more than 15 years of experience working with students and alumni across the nation and is committed to helping all with removing barriers and attaining their educational and career goals. He does this through providing adults with valuable work experiences, webinars, training, career coaching, workshops, internships, and most importantly, helping make connections to employment opportunities.

- You and a member of the Career Team will plan the next steps together. They will assist you with finding jobs, filling out applications, interviewing skills, and resume building.

- Career Team members will provide follow up services as long as an individual is in need.
