Secretary of the Kentucky Education and Labor Cabinet Jamie Link addressed the Cumberlands Workforce Development Board on progress and concerns facing Kentucky’s workforce needs. Secretary Link shared efforts from the state level to address ways to help employers with their needs concerning workforce availability and readiness. Link began his remarks with an appreciation of the Cumberlands Workforce Board and Director Myra Wilson, as well as the efforts of Aaron Poynter and the Reentry programs pioneered in Russell County.
